Interacting with Significant's Shows
When you get in touch with any of Significant’s shows or titles, the personal data we collect includes personal details like your name and where you’re from, but also the views, opinions or personal stories you wish to share with us.
We will use your personal data to get in touch with you should we need further information about what you’ve sent to us.
If you appear as an ‘on air’ contributor across any of our titles, this content may be made available online and/or on demand, and your contribution may be used again in a future broadcast or content release. We may also use your on-air appearance for promotional purposes across social media platforms.
Depending on your interaction with our titles, we may collect and process the following personal data about you:
- Name, Gender, Age
- Contact details (phone number, email, or social media account name)
- Location
- Your views, opinions, and any biographical information you wish to share
- A broadcast recording of your voice, if you appear on-air
Why We’re Allowed to Use Your Information
Under UK GDPR, we use your personal info because it’s needed for the work we’ve agreed to do together (contractual necessity), or we’re legally required to in some cases (legal obligation). It also helps us run our business in a way that doesn’t override your rights (legitimate interests).
